OUR COMMITMENT TO ANTI-RACISM

Bellwether Housing is committed to providing housing justice, which is racial justice. We are committed to being an anti-racist organization and continuing to do the work to dismantle the systemic and institutionalized racism on which our country was built.

We recognize that in housing especially, discriminatory practices  have created a wealth gap that advantages white people and disadvantages Black people and other people of color. We live in a city with a history of housing segregation, redlining, and systematically denying people of color access to safe and affordable homes.

OUR PROPERTIES

We have more than 30 buildings in current operation, with 2,100+ apartments. We maintain these properties to make them “HOME”.

Below are some of our most recent additions.

Our mission has always been to build stronger communities. We provide housing that is close to transit, workplaces, schools, childcare, parks, libraries, stores, and other amenities. With their housing well-situated, our residents can access more of life’s opportunities, and their communities are stronger.
