Dr. Jamil Zaki is a professor of psychology at Stanford University and the bestselling author of The War for Kindness and Hope for Cynics. His internationally acclaimed research explores empathy, cooperation, and community-building, highlighting how human connection can create meaningful and lasting change. Dr. Zaki’s award-winning work, widely viewed TED Talks, and contributions to major media outlets have inspired global audiences. Who does Bellwether serve?
Bellwether Housing serves individuals and families with low to moderate incomes across King County, providing safe, stable, and affordable housing. Our residents include seniors, working families, young professionals, veterans, and people with disabilities—anyone who might otherwise struggle to find housing in our region’s expensive rental market. By creating and managing affordable homes, we help ensure that everyone, regardless of income, has the opportunity to live and thrive in our communities.
