The Arbora Court Apartments are located in the University District.  Built in 2018   Close to major Metro bus lines, I-5, the University District, parks, shopping, restaurants and theaters.

Arbora Court features a community room complete with a shared kitchen, television, and dining tables.


It also offers a courtyard with trees shading a children's play structure. The outdoor sitting area also includes benches, tables, and chairs for gatherings.


The building has intercom-controlled access, laundry facilities on site, limited garage parking, elevator access, and attentive on-site management. Water, Sewer and Garbage are included with rent.

Cats and dogs are allowed, up to 2 pets per unit. Pet deposit required but no pet-rent charged.

Special Information

Serving households earning below 30%, 50% to 60% of area median income. Section 8 vouchers are welcome.

Full-Time Students

Due to Federal funding requirements for this property, applicant households must have an adult member who is not a full-time student unless one of the following student prohibition exceptions is met. You are:

  1. married and filing a joint federal tax return with spouse

  2. a single parent with a minor child and neither are dependents of a third party

  3. receiving benefits under Title IV of the Social Security Act (e.g., TANF)

  4. At least one student participates in a program receiving assistance under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act or under other similar, federal, state or local laws. (Attach documentation of participation.)

  5. previously under the care of a state foster care system

Project Description:  Arbora Court serves low-income families in Seattle’s University District. Built on land that was once a church parking lot, University Christian Church generously sold the land to Bellwether at below market value to fulfill their vision and create affordable housing. Now 133 families call Arbora Court Home. Forty apartments are designated for families transitioning out of homelessness. Onsite services, a community room, and playground support residents and foster community. Stable housing at Arbora Court enables residents to focus on health, school and work. Located near transit, some of Seattle’s top performing public schools, a world-class public university, and abundant community resources, Arbora Court puts opportunity within reach of its residents.
